In the Renaissance, in the days of Pontormo, when dining, people normally used their own knives, faithful companions also in hunting, defence and travel. Coltelleria Berti, drawing inspiration from a painting by Pontormo, has faithfully reproduced these very soft yet strong shapes, making a unique knife: the Pontormo. You can use it for cheese, meat or vegetables. Its blade is bent compared to the handle so you can apply greater force with less fatigue. The rounded cutting part can be used as a mezzaluna and the special width of the blade allows one to pick up cut material easily.
